Professional Summary
Sheena Freeman serves as a Data Manager providing extensive data management for the Asthma CarePartners program and the Asian Health Coalition diabetes project. Ms. Freeman joined the Sinai Urban Health Institute as a Research Assistant in March 2002 to work on the NIOS (NICU Infant Outcomes Study) Project, where she was responsible for data collection. She has gained experience with various projects by building and managing databases, designing forms and collecting data, as well as abstracting data from patient medical records.

Prior to joining the Sinai Urban Health Institute she worked with the Department of Commerce-Bureau of the Census as an Automation Technician, training and supervising the office automation staff and managing the Novell LAN Network, conducting interviews and administering the Bayley Scales of Infant Development to children up to one year of age. She also worked with the Geography Department digitizing and updating digital maps using TIGER GIS database for address resolutions.
