Emergency Services

Sinai Health System’s emergency services include comprehensive emergency medicine and Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Services—the highest designation available. Our emergency services at Mount Sinai Hospital and Holy Cross Hospital are supported by specialty services including neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, obstetrics, surgery, cardiology and neurology, among others. Most patients report high levels of satisfaction and have door-to-doctor wait times under 60 minutes.

The team of dedicated caregivers includes Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians, along with a compassionate and competent nursing staff featuring trained trauma nurse specialists. In addition to the many caregivers who speak Spanish, we offer Spanish language interpreters and Video Report Interpreting (VRI) carts 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure clear communication and positive patient experiences. We accept all patients within our treatment capabilities.
