Current residents of Mount Sinai Family Practice Residency are a diverse group of both United States and foreign graduates, with a total of 18 family practice residents chosen for all three years.
Our Family Practice Residency Program introduces these select residents to training that nurtures both personal and professional growth. Our residents gain a wide range of hands-on experience in caring for various illness and disease stages, allowing them to be competent, board-certified family physicians in any kind of medical setting. Every year, a few of our graduates pursue fellowship programs, usually but not limited to geriatric medicine, sports medicine or women’s health. Today, our graduates are successfully practicing in various settings, whether clinic-based, hospital-based, urban, rural or in academia.
