Outpatient Care
Within our hospital and with a growing array of partners, Schwab's outpatient services streamline rehabilitation for people living independently in the community. To complete our continuum of care, we provide a wide range of outpatient services to meet each patient's individualized needs.
Our services include the therapies - physical, occupational and speech. We also offer industrial and work-related rehab services through our STEPS Rehabilitation Clinics. And to support these primary rehab services we also offer other rehab services including a psychology program, case management, vocational and educational programs, substance abuse counseling, pastoral care services and recreational therapy.
Schwab Rehab continues to find new and better ways to provide outpatient rehabilitation services so that each of our patients can live life to the fullest. Just two years ago we expanded Schwab so that the outpatient area is now twice the size it once was. A therapeutic pool has been added as well as a rooftop basketball court for our wheelchair basketball team - the Schwab Stars. And a new playroom was added last year for our youngest patients.
Schwab plays a bigger role in the care of all of its patients now more than ever, and Schwab Rehab is there for them every step of their recovery - for as long as it takes.
