Job Description :
This detail-oriented individual will promote the services of Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH), an entity of Sinai Health System, to physicians, medical offices, hospitals, clinics and community organizations. You will: · Perform patient medical assessments to determine appropriateness of referral to SRH for treatment · Serve as a liaison between patients, referral sources, insurance companies and hospital staff regarding admission issues, including Medicare requirements · Assist in the efficient flow of patients throughout the admitting process We require: · Bachelor’s degree · Current RN license · 2 years experience as an RN in an acute rehabilitation facility · Current IL driver’s license · Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Meditech and various other office-related applications · Excellent organization, follow-through and communication skills · Ability to interact with a diverse client base including patients and their family members, medical center staff, and external parties · Previous patient admitting or registration and sales/marketing experience preferred
