In addition to these core topics, the curriculum includes:
Anatomy
During the fall, the residents spend additional didactic time focusing on neuromusculoskeletal anatomy. Residents volunteer to learn about the anatomical region of their choice and subsequently teach their fellow residents. PGY-2 residents give a brief oral presentation in the classroom, PGY-3 residents perform the dissection in the lab at the University of Chicago and demonstrate their findings, and PGY-4 residents provide clinical correlations. Attending physicians supervise these sessions.

Morning Report
This is a 30 minute interactive lecture given by an attending physician to the PGY2 residents every morning prior to inpatient rounds.
