Mayor Emanuel visits Sinai Children's Hospital
Chicago, 12/11/11 – The caregivers of Sinai Children's Hospital welcomed Mayor Rahm Emanuel as he visited patients in the Pediatric Unit, offering encouragement and best wishes for the upcoming holidays. The Mayor is visiting many Chicago hospital pediatric departments although he has a special connection with Sinai. He told nurses and physicians on the Pediatric Unit that as a boy he sometimes accompanied his father, a pediatrician, who made rounds at Mount Sinai Hospital caring for his hospitalized patients. Mayor Emanuel empathized with concerned parents, listened to children and talked about the future with teenagers.
