On March 7, 2008 members of the Executive Board of Asanteman Association of Chicago and the Midwest ceremonially received hospital equipment, including dialysis machines, beds, and other items from Mount Sinai Hospital for the Komofo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi, Ghana. The donation will be used to serve patients and will also be available as medical students go through training. Abraham Morgan, Chairman of the Sinai Health System Board of Directors facilitated the relationship between Ghana and Sinai.
