Sinai Is a Teaching Hospital
A major teaching hospital, Sinai trains more than 700 health care professionals through its undergraduate, graduate, residency and fellowship programs. For undergraduate medical students, we offer teaching in six major specialties and several subspecialties, independently and through affiliation with Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science/The Chicago Medical School. Specialties include medicine, surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. What’s more, we are known for our ongoing research key fields such as cancer detection and treatment, child abuse, trauma and emergency medicine, urology, rheumatology, oncology, hematology and neonatology.
