As a major teaching hospital for the Chicago area, Mount Sinai Hospital trains more than 700 health care professionals each year through its undergraduate, graduate, fellowship and Chicago residency programs.
The Residency Program at Sinai is developed to train physicians for urban health care in a community setting. We offer programs focused on surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, family practice, internal medicine, podiatric surgery and pharmacy. The objective of our residencies is to provide a comprehensive and longitudinal experience that will afford residents exposure to the various required disciplines. Sinai serves a culturally and economically diverse patient population, provides our residents with important and challenging learning experiences.
