Professional Summary
Madeline Woodberry joined SUHI in March 2014 as a Community Health Educator for SUHI’s HUD-funded Adult Asthma Program, entitled Helping Chicago’s Westside Adults Breathe and Thrive (HCWABT).  She has over 30 years of experience working in child care, customer service and construction inspection. Madeline was born in Moorehead, MS, and as a young child her family moved to Chicago North Lawndale area, where she currently resides.   She attended elementary and high school in North Lawndale, and Kenney King College for Early Childhood Development.

Madeline has a strong passion for working with people in her community to help them grow in a positive manner.  For the past four years, she has been heavily involved in working with her neighbors to beautify the neighborhood.  Madeline loves children and is a mother to many in her community.

On the HCWABT program, Madeline conducts home visits to provide asthma and healthy homes education to adults in her community.  She is very excited to be a part of the asthma program and SUHI as a whole.
