Professional Summary

Kristin Monnard joined the Sinai Urban Health Institute in November 2015 as a program associate specializing in community health needs assessment, stakeholder engagement, and qualitative data collection. Currently, she leads community dissemination and engagement efforts for the Sinai Community Health Survey findings.

Kristin’s research interests include health inequities, social determinants of health, and qualitative methodologies, including focus groups, interviews, and ethnography.

Prior to her work with SUHI, Kristin was a community health assessment specialist with the Illinois Public Health Institute’s Center for Community Capacity Development, where she provided consultation and technical assistance to health departments and hospitals across Illinois on how to conduct community health needs assessments.
