Professional Summary
Jacqueline "Jackie" Kanoon, MPH, is the Supervisor of Program Initiatives for the Helping Her Live (HHL) program, generously funded by the Avon, Lynn Sage and Barbara Bates Foundations. HHL is a community-based patient navigation program that utilizes Community Health Workers to navigate minority women on the west and southwest sides of Chicago through the entire mammography process in hopes of decreasing breast cancer disparities.  

Jackie has been with SUHI since 2011, starting as HHL’s Research Assistant and then becoming Supervisor of Program Initiatives in 2013.  Prior to joining SUHI, she has done work with Planned Parenthood in expanding access to family planning services for community college students across Illinois.
