Sinai Children’s Hospital includes a Level III (the highest level of care) neonatal intensive care unit, outpatient pediatric surgery and anesthesiology. A wide range of specialty outpatient pediatric care is available through Sinai Children’s Hospital, including gastroenterology, nephrology, allergy, hematology, endocrinology, urology and neurology. The hospital offers a variety of resources, including a pediatric weight management program and an HIV/AIDS program.
Our team’s approach to care gives children and their families access to a full range of outpatient care settings. Since 2003, Sinai Children’s Hospital has offered family-focused care. As part of Mount Sinai Hospital, our Emergency Department is an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics faculty. Our staff is specially trained to handle pediatric emergencies because children’s medical needs are different from adults.
Sinai Children’s Hospital brings together a multidisciplinary pediatric program that provides a continuum of care, including community health education and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Our team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, psychologists, social workers, health educators and dieticians.
