PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

Overview

Mount Sinai Hospital's PGY1 Residency Program equips residents for various professional and career opportunities. Upon graduation, residents can competently practice in a variety of pharmacy roles, continue training in a PGY2 program or serve as adjunct preceptors. Pharmacy residents further benefit from a $47,476 estimated stipend, health insurance, paid time off, lab coats and professional travel reimbursement (ICHP, MCM, and Great Lakes).

Current residents of Mount Sinai’s PGY1 pharmacy residency program are prepared for multiple professional challenges and career opportunities through diverse learning opportunities and training, set in a socio-economically disadvantaged area typically underserved by health care. The clinical functions of pharmacists are incorporated as a key component of clinical practice at Sinai Health System.
