How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in the Pharmacy Residency Program at Mount Sinai Hospital. Our 12-month PGY-1 residency program offers four positions each year, beginning in late June and receiving estimated stipends of $47,476. Our PGY-2 Admin residency offers one position each year with an estimated stipend of $51,500.

Interested candidates must meet three requirements before submitting a pharmacy residency application:
• Graduate of ACPE-Accredited Pharmacy school 
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident status 
• Eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois

Applicants who submit the completed application within the deadline will be screened to determine if they fit for the program. Factors for consideration include pharmacy-related experience (e.g., work, organizational experience and extracurricular projects/activities include community service and participation), strength of clinical rotations and GPA.
 
A qualifying applicant may apply using PHORCAS through the ASHP website. Each completed application must be absolutely complete and submitted by January 8, 2018 in order to be considered. Applicants must also obtain three professional references, at least two of which are clinical preceptors.
