To evaluate, plan, interpret and implement specific Physical Therapy treatment programs for patients in order to facilitate the patient's maximum recovery potential, to supervise assigned students and support staff as applicable. Demonstrates support of hospital and system and conducts self in a manner, which brings credit to the department and institution. Contributes to the team effort and shows respect and compassion for patients, families and other staff.
Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA approved school or equivalent.
Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Illinois or eligible for licensure as stated by state guidelines.
Current certification in Basic Life Support: Healthcare Providers, Level C.
Must have good interpersonal and communication skills to work adequately with other health care professionals and to establish therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
