Sinai Health System Announces Nursing Executive

Chicago, June 21, 2013 Sinai Health System has named Suzette Mahneke, RN, MSN as Vice President of Patient Care Services/System Chief Nursing Officer. Mahneke has a strong track record of accomplishments in her prior roles as Chief Nursing Officer at both safety net and non-safety net organizations, most recently Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora. Skilled in all areas of nursing administration, Suzette brings experience in facilitating continued professional enhancement and empowerment in nursing care, certification achievement, patient satisfaction, quality, and financial management of clinical areas. Mahneke received her MSN from Loyola University in Chicago. She has served as a Nursing Advisory Board member for both Purdue North Central University and Aurora University, is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, is certified through the American Organization of Nurse Executives as an Executive in Nursing Practice and has been a member of the Board of Directors for Jacob’s Ladder, a charitable organization focused on impacting the lives of children with special needs. Mahneke fills the position previously held by Lori Pacura, who became senior administrator for Holy Cross Hospital, the newest member of Sinai Health System.
