Sinai Health System and Cinespace Present End of Summer Soiree

Sinai Health System and Cinespace Chicago will host the 2014 End of Summer Soirée to support Sinai’s wellness and community outreach programs throughout the West and Southwest Sides of Chicago.

WHEN: Saturday, September 6, from 6 PM to 10 PM

WHAT: The evening features eclectic cuisine, live entertainment, dancing and a silent auction.

Notable silent auction items include: • Opportunities to visit the sets of Chicago Fire or Chicago PD during the filming of an episode and take home a director’s chair autographed by the cast. • Six pieces from renowned Chicago fashion designer Barbara Bates’ pre-fall collection, which will be displayed by professional models. Auction winners may take the pieces home as is or have them custom-fitted. • A mixed-media artwork piece created by children from Sinai’s Learn Together Afterschool Program, under the direction of Chicago-based Czech artist Misa Verbeek. • A tour of WGN studios with evening news anchors Micah Materre and Mark Suppelsa, and an opportunity to view a live broadcast of the WGN News at Nine in-studio. Hors d’oeuvres and strolling buffets will be provided by a variety of Chicago establishments and national movie production caterer Hat Trick Caterers.

WHO: Cast members from Chicago Fire and Chicago PD will be in attendance, along with nearly 400 expected guests who include business, civic and community leaders along with Sinai Board members.

WHERE: The Soirée will take place on two empty soundstages at Cinespace Chicago—a new neighbor to Sinai and the largest U.S. film studio outside of Hollywood, which has hosted production of major films and television shows, including Transformers 3 & 4, Divergent, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Boss and Mind Games. Cinespace Film studios is located at 2558 W 16th in Chicago.
