Mount Sinai Hospital is a 319-bed teaching, research and tertiary-care facility that provides medical, surgical, behavioral health, therapeutic and diagnostic services to Chicago's West Side, as well as to others in the metropolitan area requiring sophisticated medical and surgical care. The Emergency Department is one of four Level I trauma centers in Chicago, treating both adult and pediatric trauma patients.
